NEP 2020: How IFTM is Transforming Education

IFTM University•28 Jun 2026

The National Education Policy 2020 is the biggest reform of Indian education in decades. Here is how IFTM University Moradabad is putting its key ideas into practice.

Multidisciplinary Learning

NEP 2020 breaks the rigid walls between streams. IFTM's 12 schools — from Engineering and Pharmacy to Law, Agriculture, and Humanities — let students pick electives across disciplines, so a B.Tech student can study design thinking or a BBA student can learn data analytics.

Four-Year UG with Research (FYUP)

Several IFTM programmes now run as "Hons. with Research" four-year degrees — BBA, B.Com, BCA, B.Sc., and BA variants — with multiple entry and exit options as NEP mandates. Students can exit with a certificate, diploma, or degree, or continue into research.

Outcome-Based Education

Every programme defines clear learning outcomes mapped to assessments, internships, and projects — so a degree translates into demonstrable skills, not just marksheets.

Skill Integration & ITEP

The Integrated Teacher Education Programme (BA/B.Sc-B.Ed ITEP) follows NEP's four-year integrated teacher training model. Vocational and skill components are embedded across professional programmes.

What It Means for Students

More choice, more flexibility, and degrees designed around employability. If you are joining in 2026-27, you will study in a system built for NEP from the ground up — not retrofitted onto an old one.
